Urban Outfitters and NYC Label SOPHOMORE Made a Baby

The name of that baby being "CXM for Urban Outfitters," a new exclusive design collaboration by SOPHOMORE's Chrissie Miller and Madeleine Von Froomer for Urban Outfitters.

CXM is a casual line of clothes that combine basic staples with loungewear vibes, yet still cool enough to be worn outside on the mean city streets.

According to the official press release from Urban Outfitters, the collection includes, "Slips, shorts and tanks [that] come in faded tones with cozy ribs and jersey fabrics."

"Small woven accents add polished details to these effortlessly cool pieces perfect for both sleeping in and stepping out into the city."

The collection is now available at select UO stores and at UrbanOutfitters.com

NYFW Flashback: Ex-J.Crewee Marissa Webb Debuts New Line

Marissa Webb is a womenswear RTW designer that debuted her first solo collection this past September in NYC during New York Fashion Week. For the Spring/Summer 2013 season, Webb went for the current trend of sophisticated separates.

Or in other words, clothing you can wear to the office (maybe), or duds you can wear when you go out with your chums, or when you have to go out to a snooty fashion event and you want to wear an outfit that screams cool and stylish but without trying to hard and looking like a douche.

If you're a fan of J. Crew, then you're probably already familiar with Ms. Webb. The Korean-born, American raised designer left the preppy powerhouse this past summer to pursue her own clothing line, previously holding onto various titles such as Head of Womenswear and Accessories Design.

But all you really need to know is that her clothes are safe enough to wear in NYC but cool enough that you won't feel like a total drab.

Her line will be carried at the following joints, as expected: Barneys, Steven Alan and Les Internets.

First Look: Saint Laurent Women's Spring Summer 2013 Lookbook Featuring Julia Nobis

Saint Laurent just released photos of their Spring/Summer Women's 2013 collection, featuring model Julia Nobis, and shot & styled by SLP's Creative Director, Hedi Slimane.

Still going strong with his trademark black-and-white motif, Hedi shoots Julia in what seems to be a lofty/garage spot, probably most likely somewhere in Downtown Los Angeles.

Check out the rest of the photos down below:

LYN DEVON // SPRING/SUMMER 2013 LOOKBOOK

Kinda disappointed in this collection. It's mokay. Fab if you live in the Upper East/West Side. There's a few pieces from the collection that were really cool, but not featured in this lookbook. Also, think the styling could of been better. I still think Lyn Devon is a great designer. Just not feeling this collection this season.
