Ever since Opening Ceremony's Humberto Leon and Carol Lim landed on Planet Kenzo last year, the Japonais-Francais designer fashion house has finally entered the 21st century -- and it's fucking great.
Already two seasons in, themes of luxury sportswear with nods of the late 80s/early 90s have been captured up in the most recent collections. The clothes are fresh, fun and still have a sense of the label's history.
Kenzo hit up animated fashion film director du jour Quentin Jones (whose done similar stop-action animation fashion films for the likes of Victoria Beckham's clothing label Victoria) for their Pre-Fall 2012 video -- and it's fucking great.
Has a bit of a Jean Paul Goude x Lee Cooper a la the 80s vibe to them which I'm totes digging.
